Hilliard Lyons named Best Place to Work in FIVE states
Hilliard Lyons has been named a 2010 Best Place to Work in Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, Kentucky and South Carolina.
“We are pleased that Hilliard Lyons has won such widespread recognition this year,” said Hilliard Lyons CEO James R. Allen. “We work hard to offer a complete employment package that will attract and retain the best professionals.”
Best Places to Work competitions are designed to recognize outstanding places of employment. Awards are based on companies’ workplace policies and practices, as well as an externally administered employee survey that measures the employee experience. The programs are designed to identify and recognize states’ best employers and are similar to Fortune magazine’s list of “100 Best Companies to Work for in America.”
This was the first year Hilliard Lyons participated in the South Carolina, Ohio, Indiana and Tennessee processes. Hilliard Lyons won the Kentucky Best Places to Work designation in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Hilliard Lyons operates 70 branches in 13 states.
Hundreds of Hilliard Lyons employees anonymously participated in assessment processes in 2010 by anonymously completing surveys about their employment experience.
